James Allan Ohlman, 84, of Peoria, formerly of Tampa, passed away at 1:36 a.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Proctor Hospital in for their wonderful care. He was born on June 25, 1928, in Speer, IL, the son of Earl Ira and Bernice Evelyn (Younger) Ohlman. They preceded him in death. He married Beverly J. Griffith on October 1, 1950 at the First Baptist Church in Peoria. They enjoyed sixty-two years of marriage together. She survives. James is also survived by his sons, Arthur, Robert and Craig Ohlman; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria and a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He retired, as a CPA, with Bank of America in Tampa. James was a member of the Mohammed Shrine of Peoria, Speer Masonic Lodge and First Baptist Church in Peoria. There will be no public visitation or service. Interment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
